In summary - this is a splendid B(&B) in an ideal location and run by very nice people. Having said that, I fully respect the decision made by the owners here and it didn’t cause us any inconvenience. We therefore had breakfast in town and the daft thing is that the cafe we had it in was much smaller than the dining room at Coppice House, which kinda negates the point being made. It was beautifully decorated and furnished and we were perfectly comfortable during our two night stay.īecause of the current Covid situation the owners have decided that, to ensure the health and safety of their guests, they cannot offer breakfast. When I booked here, the only room available was a “small double” and although it was certainly smaller than we usually have, it was perfectly fine. We were warmly greeted on arrival and instant impressions of the house is that it is a charming house, full of character - the sort of house you’d love to own in other words. There is also ample private parking which is always a bonus. I note that some reviews suggest that it is an easy stroll to the town, but I would contend that the house is actually in the town centre anyway, so that is not an issue. This was our first stay at Coppice House and it was ideal.
